Welcome to Hindwell Farm. We are a family run, traditional mixed beef, sheep, pork and arable farm situated in the rich, fertile lowland of the Radnor Valley in beautiful Mid Wales.
MEAT VENDING MACHINE FARM SHOP
Welcome to our brand new bespoke Farm Shop. We have recently installed an onsite self-service vending machine facility which allows customers to purchase our products anytime between the hours of 6am and 11pm 24/7, 365 days of the year! Just come along and browse at your leisure…
- Our purpose built shop is easily accessible from the farm entrance and we have disabled access, with parking next to the shop.
- We are the first meat vending machine in Wales and we only sell our own homegrown Angus Beef, Grass-fed Welsh Lamb & Welsh Pork products in our machines.
- Seasonal availability dictates what produce we have in the shop but we are fortunate that our machines can offer both fresh & frozen meat to customers, so out of season meat can still be purchased freshly frozen throughout the farming year.
- The machines are contactless card payment only and are very simple to use.
- We are also proud to support a local award winning egg Farmer, Mr Tim Clarke, selling his beautiful organic eggs in our shop. These can be purchased by honesty cash box.
- Orders can also be placed by email and collection can be made from the shop by Pin number and allocated box.
- Sanitiser is available in the shop and our machines are cleaned daily.
LIVESTOCK
SALES
Over the past 10 years we have bred a flock of around 700 Exlana ewes. This modern composite breed has been bred to lose its wool naturally, and now we spend no time managing wool. By selecting animals against problem traits such as dirty tails and foot rot, we have cut out much of the labour and costs associated with traditional sheep breeds. We sell selected quality breeding ewes, yearlings, Ram lambs and Rams from our herd so please get in touch for availability.
Hindwell Farm
Holidays
Hindwell is a Grade 2 Listed Georgian Farmhouse and many of its original features have been preserved within the house, from the Large Inglenook Fireplace in the main lounge, the large box sash windows and the original porch dating back to the 1820’s. The house has been decorated with a warm and cosy feel, with modern furnishings complimenting the original character of the house. A few statement pieces can be found within the house such as the mahogany side dresser, the oak bookcase and the Piano. The house sleeps 10 and has the most idyllic setting looking out across the 4 acre private lake.
