The house has been decorated with a warm and cosy feel, with modern furnishings complimenting the original character of the house. A few statement pieces can be found within the house such as the mahogany side dresser, the oak bookcase and the Piano.
The property has 4 bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 10 people in the following arrangement; Two large En-suite Super-king Double/Twin Rooms, One Double Room with shared bathroom and a Family Room with one Double and Two Single beds on the top floor, sharing bathroom facilities.
Our GeorgianFarmhouse is nestled in the beautiful Radnor Valley basin which is steeped in archaeological history and natural beauty. Just a stone’s throw away fromthe private four-acre Roman lake, the magnificent four-bedroom property has an enormous inglenook fireplace in the main lounge with an oil burning stove and a large ground floor pool/games room for some in house entertainment. The oak beamed kitchen is located on the second floor boasting fantastic views over the lake and surrounding countryside. It comes with a large double oven range cooker and huge farmhouse table seating 10 people.
All the bedrooms gaze out over the lake and have truly stunning views. The private summerhouse down by the lake has an outdoor patio and seating, and a large gas BBQ for those glorious summer evenings sat taking in the views. The farmhouse is an elegant but cosy retreat for any large family or get together and whilst the property is attached to the main dwelling, guests are assured of privacy and have full access to the surrounding gardens during their stay. The advantage of being on site is that we are usually only a phone call away if you should require anything and we proudly offer our home-produced meat to all our guests during their stay.
We are a working farm so there will be some typical farm noise during your stay but we keep this to an absolute minimum and most of the time you will just be addressed by the occasional sound of cattle and sheep grazing happily in our nearby fields!
